(Vice President, Planning & Business Allis-Chalmers Energy, Inc.)

Anwer has served Allis-Chalmers Energy Inc. as the Vice President of International Development since January 2009. Allis-Chalmers is multi-faceted oilfield services company that is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. He joined Allis-Chalmers Energy Inc. as Vice President of Planning and Business Development in September 2006. Prior to joining Allis-Chalmers, he served as a Management, Technology and Strategy Consultant to clients in the energy and high technology fields both in the U.S. and overseas from April 2001.


Anwer holds a B.S. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1976) and an MBA from Stanford University (1979). After graduating from Stanford, he joined Booz, Allen & Hamilton where he conducted assignments in energy, health care and airline industries in the U.S. Middle East and Pakistan. Assignments were in the areas of strategy, financial control and organizational studies. He then returned to Pakistan in 1981 to re-join his family’s oilfield services business which he had co-founded in 1976 and then grew it into the country’s largest. He moved to the U.S. in 1991 to open a subsidiary office which has since been repositioned as a Procurement Outsourcer that now operates in a “virtual” mode with all operations conducted via e-mail and the internet on 24/7 basis from joint operations in Houston and Pakistan. From October 1998 to March 2001, he was the CEO and co-founder of an e-business portal for the energy industry.


Anwer is a Past President of MIT Club of South Texas and is currently a Member of the Board of Directors.
