Aamir Shah is Vice President in the Middle Market Financial Services at Comerica Bank Texas. In this role he focuses on financing transactions sponsored by the Private Equity and Institutional Investors.

Prior to this he managed the Special Assets Group for Comerica managing a $200,000,000 portfolio of borrowers facing financial challenges.

In 1993 Aamir founded Global Advisors (GA) a financial advisory firm in Houston. GA provided corporate finance services to public and private companies in USA, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Clients included private and public institutions such as The World Bank, Agricultural Development Bank of Pakistan. In Pakistan he developed the first Asset Securitization structure under the existing legal and accounting structure. Aamir started his career with First City National Bank of Houston in the management training program in 1983.

Aamir has a BS in Chemical Engineering from AIT and MBA from Texas A&M (Kingsville).
